T Day and counting!!!!

Thanksgiving has snuck up on us all once again!!! It's now time to think about guest list, food and activities for the Holiday.  We will be offering a variety of food options that will help  round out your holiday offering.

Cheese slates make great center pieces for your Holiday Table. Call for a small medium or large to start the Holiday season right.
Also available are "Salumi Boards" meat platters.

Special cheeses just in for the Holidays.
Woodcock Farm, Vermont.

Timberdoodle is made from either 100% cow's milk (during the winter months), a blend of cow's and sheep's milk (fall and spring) or 100% sheep's milk (summer). Cheeses are washed with brine as they age, which gives the rind a golden-red appearance, interspersed with a light dusting of white candidum mold.

Snow white goat cheddar, Carr Valley. Wisconsin.
A creamy white Goat Cheddar Cheese made in 38# wheels and cave aged for 6 months. The flavor is deep and complex with pleasant earthy notes. Took 2nd Place at the 2007 American Cheese Society Competition and 2008 "Best in Show" at the American Cheese Society Competition.

Hudson Red, Twin Maple Farm. , this raw cow’s milk cheese is made from the fresh and creamy cow’s milk of an all jersey herd and aged 60 – 90 days. Its rich paste and pungent, yet supple, rind will remind you of the loving care our cheesemakers provide during daily brine-washings.  Your first taste of this award-winning, Hudson Valley native is — in a word — unforgettable!

Loma Alta, Nicasio Valley:California's award winning organic farmstead cheesemaker.  All cheeses are made from 100% organic farmstead cow's milk. Fall cheese & etc..

Hello again from Bloomy

Fall and foliage are an amazing time to be in New England and entertaining moves from the garden patio to the indoors.  Our cheese providers are bringing some new amazing cheeses this season.

Cowgirl Creamery.
CHIMNEY ROCK, in honor of the cooler days of fall. Chimney Rock is washed in wine and covered with dried organic Pioppini and Shiitake mushrooms from Far West Fungi, organic savory from Allstar Organics and Black Pepper. As with all of our seasonal cheeses, Chimney Rock is made with organic Jersey cow milk from Chileno Valley Jersey Dairy and, as a result, it has a rich yellow paste.

 Landoff Cheese Creamery
Kinsman Ridge cheese, a cows milk cheese aged at Jasper Hill, Tangy and pungent with a mild finish, semi firm cheese

Boggy Meadow Farm
Fiddlehead Tomme, Raw cow's milk, clean and grassy flavors which become more prominent with age.

A new addition to our Salume offerings

Salchichon iberico, dry cured sausage is from south western Spain.
Ibérico salchichón sausages are simply seasoned with sea salt and black pepper and hung to cure in the cool mountain air for several weeks. Unlike Ibérico chorizo, salchichón sausages are not seasoned with smoked paprika, so the pure Ibérico pork flavor shines through in each delicious bite! Slice thinly and serve with a crisp white wine from Spain.

Mossend Blue:Cheesemaker Neil Urie has hit the jackpot with Mossend Blue, a sheeps’ milk cheesewhose paste is riddled with spidery blue veins. Crumbly at first bite, but then melts
in your mouth with a lovely balance of savory and sweet that is characteristic of
famous French Perseille style blues. Flavors range from bright aromatic spice, to
earthbound, root-like elements, to thick, dense fudge. Aged 4-5 months
